I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but I figure, it's worth a shot.
I am currently rigging a female model. This model has a very particular outfit, which is separated in to two parts in the front. These parts are "attached" by a loop.
My question is, how do I go about rigging this section of her cloths?
Do I just weight it to the spine like I would the rest of her?
Do I create a Stretchy bone set up so that the two ends stay together?
Do I weight each part to a different joint?
I'm not sure what to do about this. Any pointers?

The simlpest way is to bind to the spine and accept that the ring may deform as the spine bends - you can always make sure that the ring has the same weighting and it will not distort in shape though, which will help it not look broken.
The more complex way is to add some joints to control that area, if it is necessary for your animation requirements.
Complexity is a non issue, as I am planning on adding a Facial Rig, as well as rigging her hair, accessories, Weapon and chest.
I'm just wondering which would be the best way to deal with her clothing as I have never actually rigged something that would be "pinned" on either side.
