Introduction Thread/What in God's name am I supposed to do?

Hello,
Someone told me that I need to have my account activated by an administrator before I can romp about in here. In General Discussion it said that new users should "check out the sticky thread." Problem is, there doesn't seem to be one. So....what do I do? Will an administrator just swoop by and look at this and activate me? Or am I missing something?

ya the aprovla my admin thing isnt done anymore, and when it was it was just a anti-spam measure.

admin would just read your first post to make sure your not a spambot than let it through.

One thing to bear in mind as well is that GD is NOT off-topic. It's for discussion of art, games and related topics. Anything truly OT belongs in the "Thread of Awesomeness".

... make your posts and wait a bit more. Probaly mods needs to approve your first posts. I´m not sure how many, probably 5 posts. After this you can post regularly, no longer approval.

PS: Mods are volunteers and busy guys. So have some patience.
