Not too particulary fond of the cyclops variant because he still has 2 eyebrows, but the concept is certainly badass enough.
yeah I'm trying to improve the cyclop eye right now, I definitly like this direction better than the other one, I need to rework the overall skull with a better integration of the cyclop eye ^^. Maybe something less human, more monkey or animal skull looking ~.
Trying to improve the "blade aspect" of it, more "axe shape" from distance, instead of "skull with horns on a stick" hehe. I still need to Remake the right side, to match with the new left blade. I changed a bit the mouth transition also, for a "teeth gradient" lol, feels less fragile and more integrated imo. Cyclope eye is still mega wip x_x, a lot of people think it's a gem. Maybe i'll try some eye spider eyes style, could be creepy !
Update for the right little blade, with some runes yeaah! I tryed to make the cyclop eye better, but everytime people see a gem instead of an eye, and it looks strange and flat without eyebrows. same for spiders eyes, was kinda strange, not really fitting the style imo... So back to original eyes, with a little more exageration. Maybe i'll try even more exageration but it could look too cartoony.

I tryed to improve the skull, it's bigger and scarier . I added a scar, because scars are cool..And it explains why his eye don't glow anymore (maybe he lost it in a fight against an other axe!)
I kinda like the right part a lot more personaly, so i might go for this (maybe not with the glow in the spikes i don't know), until i find a pommel a like. Hope you guys like it!
i like the last one the most so great job, the cyclops eye was a cool idear but it didn't look that good, the asymetry with just one eye glowing is way better!
and like Kenny said, the jaw twist is very nice! But maybe make the tooth a bit bigger so its clearer cause i didn't notice it till i read the comment, nontheless awesome!
Sweet! I love the face now, it looks sinister. I wish you didn't change the right side as much though. It feels like it doesn't fit the rest of the axe, maybe because the flat part of the blade isn't repeated anywhere else. I thought the horn part was so cool, melding into the blade. Maybe if you kept something like that it wouldn't feel stuck on as much.

great concept! imo now it looks a bit unbalanced with having that normal blade with runes on it without any chaotic transition like at the left side. but maybe it's just me. looking forward for your sculpts!! i guess you wont have problem meeting the style of ds2 :P
Quick idea I had in mind, and.. actually I like it more XD. It's moke chunky, less small details, easier to fit in a 512, and I like the shape way more, specialy the little chain/strap. It still need some work but What do you think guys?
Hm, hard to decide. I think I like the new one more but it kinda goes towards being a scythe more than an axe in a way. Perhaps it's sticking out too far outside bounding box?
Maybe you could turn the big blade into something pointier and triangular shaped, like some sort of pickaxe.
Good point, yeah you're right about the bounding box, I didnt try to use it yet, was just free concepting when I got this idea. I'll try to make it shorter and larger to fit more an axe, and the proxy. Thanks!
I love this new concept, but I agree that you should respect more the bounding boxes.
I also find that there is a lack of integration between the skull and the blade as it was just placed on it.
Otherwise very good concept!
omg man! how can you make so many great concept. I'm not sure I can help you to choose your weapon but the double axe has more punch than the last one, perhaps just mix the 2 because I love the idea of the last one!
I like the war one better but for me the problem on your design is the pommel because it looks kinda boring compared to the awesome top design. But other than that its awesome ^^

I like the far right one as well... asymmetry on axes seems to work better in my opinion... At least in this case
