hey everyone! did a quick sculpt, tried to do an all-zbrush handpainted work to avoid having to tackle a lot of retopo job and everything but i failed basically for the first try at least so that is maybe for later when i'll take another crack at it. though i did a quick zremesher model based on the sculpt, then uvwrapped it in rizomuv and textured it in 3d-coat. after that i added a couple of "3d brushstrokes" to spice it up a bit hope you enjoy! awesome original concept by https://www.artstation.com/lambros_p that this work is heavily based on

hey everyone! here are some of the 3d characters i did on Ori WOTW as a 3d character artist. i'm really happy i can share them finally my role was to get as close as possible to the 2d concepts, trying to give back the colors, style, feeling of them in 3d. even the painterly surface details. it was an awesome opportunity and really great experience and huge challange to work on. crazy talent-pool at the company! huge thanks to Mikhail Rakhmatullin, Leroy van Vliet for their concepts and feedback on the models and textures! thanks for Tyler Hunter he was character lead and also helped me a ton and taught me a ton. Miki Bencz for all his help and believing in me as always i had to do tons of additional support work for the project and got tons of priceless tech and art support from Jeremy Gritton (art director) and Daniel van Leeuwen (art environment lead) and of course from all the team! hope you guys enjoy our work and the game of course! these people have been working crazy to make it as good as possible given the limited time we had.
