That female thief looks proper nice!
On that cyborg character, the metal might need some more contrast and shine, to stand out from her skin.
yes it's basically the same as the adjutant character from starcraft, but more of the sc1 than the one from sc2.
i'll try to give it more contrast for sure, i'm trying to be gentle as i have no experience in projection texturing. i guess i was too gentle then
previous works kick ass as well, chess piece has a really convincing anatomy and texture of thief girl shows awesome material definition.
@ Darkleopard - it was not my plans to make her look like that but when i started to texture her i the same thing got into my mind too "additional supply depots required" thank you for commentin!
@ Blaisoid - thank you! you're right! it was a hard challange for me to paint metal, and i was not confortable enough with it to paint more materials..
@ SSquir33 - thanks for the nice words!

any c&c are welcome!
it's totally a Slipgate rip-off, but my intention was basically to create an infiltrator character in the world he created at dominance war with his awsome work! i started this back in 2010 december and abandoned the project in 2011 february and since then i haven't touched it. i'm not sure if i'll finish it ever.. i like some aspects of this character, but at the same time there are lots of reasons i should redesign it and start it over. anyway i have tons of work in it, so i hope you enjoy it
will create some of them in 3d as well to practice hand drawn textures
heavily ispired by
Tyson Murphy
practicing the texturing.. unfortunately i don't have too much sparetime so i started with a small one
418 tris, 256x256 diffuse

progress vid (speed paint), NOT TUTORIAL, just showing how i did it (4x speed)

presentation sux, but anyway.. i consider it final :P
did a little touch up on seams and stuff with viewport canvas and that's all.
texture size on the presentation image is the actual size (256x256)
still doing theese when i have a little time
JoeCyriac thank you! i'm glad you like it hopefully i'll improve myself with time
CordellC thank you! although it's not really a sculpt, i only used zbrush for the face of the chick. other parts are made in 3ds max with traditional hard surface modelling method. here are some construction shots (lot's of things are wip, but i don't wanna finish this work any more, coz it's too much of a rip-off of Slipgate's work)
finished the hammer:
(model is 1494 tris)
actual texture size here (512x512)
C&C are always welcome here!
i hope you enjoy it!

yeah! you're absolutely right, usually i end up creating rock instead of metal, so that's one weekness i should kill somehow in the future!
