[EDIT] Latest concept!



Here is my quick initial concept for a hammer. I plan on modeling it out like it's made out of one giant piece of stone/metal/demon hide, whatever.

Worked a bit more on my concept, closer to what I want. Still need to work the area where the head connects to the handle a bit more.

Worked a bit more on my concept. I'm heading in the direction of a spear that got stuck in the head of the creature. So it was cut short, secured and now used as a hammer.

I'm not sure if I'll go with the chains and hooks in the eye sockets, I may just make the spear barbed just above the skull. I'll work it over some more after I block it out in 3d.

Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One more update. Going for a closed mouth and a flatter face, make it more hammer like for the SMASHING GOODNESS!!!

I really enjoy the most recent concept, because the front is more or less closed and would impact a enemy with that blunt force trauma. Love it! I think out of the back too, you could have some sort of energy/power coming from it. Great stuff.
