tnx guys, the space is going to be filled, it should become some sort of glowing core. i'm not sure yet if i'm going to do some sort of hot coals or just a very red shining mass. I'll experiment with that

If you're filling it up with something glowy, I'd make it a shining mass rather then individual coals or something like that. It's a pretty complex shape and having something complex looking inside it as well is just going to end up as a pixel mess imho.
Looks great, i feel your pain with the tris problem. My only suggestion would be that at the back of the Axe i feel the demons tongue looks a bit too longue and slightly odd at the length it is. Aside from that its really inspiring.
You may have to cut it down more. Bobo told me something like 200 over the budget max. In order to fit the requirements I had to kill my darling aka my chains so you may have to cut something. Good job btw.
I'd try breaking a horn off on each side to get closer to that budget. It would be a shame if a nice design like this is turned down because of the polycount.
holy poop, the blade effects on the ice one are awesome. if you could transfer those onto the fire one I think it might do it a bit more justice. The core of your weapon really stands out but given the amount of contrast in the center the blade on your original kind of lacks umpff. Just letting you know where my eyes are wandering. Regardless, very strong design all around.
I have to tell you I really think you should choose the ice one. On top of what the guys above me said I strongly believe it'd fit in well in the game because of this environment:

Great, but i think your specular texture doesn`t make sense, it`s almost identical to the difusse, just the bandages at the handle changed, i think you culd use the difusse as a specular with almost the same result, saving one extra texture...my advice is to make a better specular or just use the difusse one
Really liking your colours. Though I agree on the spec map. Maybe try out adding a contrasting colour in the spec map to accentuate the cold of the ice.

Besides everyone is doing the "fire" weapon, you should make yours unique. Anyway really good texturing!
