So for a Uni project called modular environments I am making a watchtower and I was hoping i could get some input on it and some advice on some issues aswell
at the moment the walls only have a normal map and a plane gray diffuse
so about the problem at the top of the tower the modular pieces are really obvious which is bugging me
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/4972/wipwatchtowerlarge.jpg the link leads to a larger picture of the tower
so any advice, help, suggestion etc would be much appreciated

at the moment it has 4 floors including the ground floor just trying to save polys for props
again any advice or criticism is welcome
You can also make an off colored (weathered) or chipped brick/stone mesh, and place a few of them around in a modular fashion to break up the monotony of the current stone texture.
Keep at it dude
and i defenetly will keep at it since when i walk out of uni i wane walk into a job which means no life for another year and a few months
He's a quick example I found on google for the kind of thing I meant:
EDIT: This is basically a rehash of what Dataday and SasoChicken said :P
Borders, decorative strips to break the silhouette and repetition of the shape.
