Sketchbook: Funky Bunnies

Funky Bunnies

Phew a buncha people told me i should embarass myself by making a sketchbook thread, so here I am haha :P

For those who know me in the last several months I've taken a pretty big step back at my approach to my artistic growth and a huge portion of that is getting off my ass and learning how to draw properly heheh

Anyway I hate using so many words so I'll be posting some 2d work in here (mostly classwork) and I'd reeeally appreciate any crits and guidance
i definitely feel awkward drawing and i still don't think im approaching it properly

Cool stuff, nice to see some traditional art posts from you. Regarding your approach; I'm not sure how your approach is but how long are the shortest sessions you have for each drawing? During my art school days we sometimes had about 1 min sessions where we would get all of the main shapes ready and not enough time to get into details. I can't really tell if you have done so here since the contours are there but I can't really see anything else shaping up the different forms of the body parts. I usually start off with something like this;


I try to keep the lines very thin though, almost invisible, but enough to help me make out the shapes.
I think your boring lifestudies are pretty impressive. Very nice shading.
