I got really pissed these days, because of lack to find descent tutorial for creating character for films and games, especially sinematics trailers for games. All i find and it's on internet:
1. Not really good tutorials for character, lack of explain details.
2. Fast tutorials, can't see what he is doing, and have English accent that it's hard to understand, plus 10 time fast tutorial, waste of time.
3. Skipping parts between video, no idea, what's he changed, waste of time.
4.Short videos + skipping parts and fast videos, epic fail.
This is all i found on internet. Because i am self taught, i really need something to see, how it's made, what tools has been used. The whole process of creating character, modeling, texturing to animation etc.
Please guys, i badly something more in depth explanation of creating characters.
I just want to have only 1 tutorial for this, where i can see everything. So i don't need to surf on the internet and finding useless tutorial, with useless payment. I would like to pay, if the tutorial is very good.

If you need something that covers absolutely everything without skipping a single part I'd recommend the gnomon tutorials by Alex Alvarez.

It's literally 9 hours long and he records it all in real time and explains what he's doing as he does it. It covers everything from base meshes to sculpting to uvs to baking and texturing. It's not exactly for games (he renders it as opposed to putting it in a real time engine), but it will teach you everything you need to know about the pipeline. It's what I started with so I really recommend it.
I think he has a new one out also, but I haven't checked it out. Anyways good luck.
Gnomon has tons of good ones. Another good series they have is Character Modeling/Texturing for Production

Learning one part of the process at a time is better than watching a tutorial that does it all at once Imo
Even if there is some missing parts, they shouldn't need to hold everyone's hand through it, you could fill in the gaps with what you think is right. That's the creative part.
Also, go to 3d motive and gnomon, paid tutorials are the best.
I want tutorials, where i can see everything it's done. from modeling, to uv, animation, and preparing the character for production.
I am ready to pay, whatever is the price, just to learn this, i am really pissed, losing all they watching Gnomon tutorials, no idea what they are doing, just taking, and doing Uhmmm, mmm.

Its not a video but its packed with info!
they have some really good tutorials, and theyre pretty detailed, because when i first started my knowledge of zbrush was like nothing, and i've improved massively..
Good one, lololol
Yea people also suggest me to go for cgnuggets, i know the is 15 videos for anatomy, very detailed explained. And for $150 in total that's awesome.
Are you satisfied from them?
