Edges look fine to me. If you go too hard then he normal wont pop.
Infact I'd go the other way, losen some edges up if you can. (Not on the grip area). For example on the scope mount. maybe the rail too on the hexagonal edges.
Remember to be quite liberal when adding geo to the low on parts up close from the players point of view. (If its designed for an FPS).
Apart from that nice clean modelling. Keep it going man.
the bolt handle looks a bit flimsy.. I dont have any experience from this weapon but compared to other bolt action rifles its either too long or too thin. (needs to be sturdier)
the grip is really boxy. Grips are ergonomic. always. and that thing you got going there is not ergonomic.
also you might want to look at your bipod design again. heres what i mean
From what I can see, grip needs to be more ergonmic. Grips tend to have an "almost" oval shape to them since that is more comfortable for the hand. The trigger gaurd (part under the trigger) looks to wide. Also missing the writing above the magazine well
My advice would be to look up as many reference photos of the weapon as possible from many different angles. Sling rings, bipods, rails, scope and mounts, etc. Get a warm and fuzzy for the rifle and then start making corrections.

the ref he posted is a side view meaning you cant really see the curvature of the grip..
heres a better ref of the grip area:
