After putting way to much posts in the WAYWO thread, I figured it was worth its own thread by now.

Voldemort from the Harry Potter series I was working on in between projects.

Currently working on texturing this guy, most of it on the head, so not much to show about the robes just yet.

Low-poly weighs in at 6162 tri's, might add a couple more for robe deformation and still got to add his wand, teeth, tongue and a mouth-socket

Also had a first go at trying to pose him, still needs some finetuning but I like it, never posed anything before using a rig so pretty happy with that :


and yes the light is off, noticed that after uploading the shot, but you get the idea

Looking good... I would give him his teeth so you can open his mouth and give him a cool expression. It would add a lot more feel to the character.

Changed his pose abit, now with teeth, thanks StrongRum for the suggestion, I think it helps

Looking cool dude, I think you could work on the pose more, why not check out a scene from the film and copy one of his poses? Also his fingers look a bit weird in the hand that he is holding the wand, once you check or some ref you should be able to sort it ;-)

Thanks StrongRum, sorry for the late reply, been extremely busy.

About the pose, I totally suck at rigging, so this is about as much as my rig can do, pretty happy with it for a first one though.

Changed the lightning around abit like suggested in the WAYWO thread, might look a bit more interesting now, also changed the background and added some smoke.

I think the skin makes him look a bit too "alive". In the movies (if that is what you are trying to recreate), he had a more grey/blueish skin tone, with pink only around eyes and lips. Also he had all these blood vessels on his hairless skull, and some deformations here and there.
