i think you should work on lighting studies for your 2d concepts. the colors are too flat and lifeless. Have you checked out Practical Light and Color - Theory and Application by Jeremy Vickery? If not, you should. It will change your understanding. Keep up the good work.
Yeah I see what you mean. Thanks for the tip and the feedback man, Definetly gonna check it out!
Here is my design for a character I'm working on in school.
So, haven't posted in a long while.. Been busy in school with lots of new stuff to learn. Though I thought it was about time though to share and hopefully get some feedback.First off is my first character. Used Zbrush for the first time and also did some minor rigging and animation. Will redo some parts, like the arms/wrists which I think looks a bit wierd.. Anyway, here are some images:)
Long time no see. Here are an ongoing project that I'm working on. An ancient temple with an enchanted table in the centre. A bit generic but hey. I wanted to put extra effort in to the materials of everything, but at the moment there is only stone:P So the plan is to add stuff such as wooden doors, iron lanterns, old torn draperys, vertexpainting for the floor and a dead guy:P
Feedback is very welcome:)
Here are some quick paintovers, although this was before I rescaled the hall and made everthing a bit less cramped.
After working on group project at school I'm back to work on personal projects. Did some of the changes I mentioned earlier. I'm planning to have some characters that I'm working on in the scene as well. They are a few guards who're escaping the evil that dwells within these tombs.^^
I removed the previous centre piece since that competed with the characters. Although the current one is not yet textured.
