I did a quick paint over of it. Mostly think you need to work on her proportions and define the light source a bit more before you start rendering stuff out.
You seem to have a fast way of working and that is of great value. ^^
However, if you'd spend more time in your presentation (I'm mainly speaking of mood and color use here) you'd probably do your assets a lot more good. Try doing some research on colors and lighting. Sometimes your scenes really look grayish which loses a lot of ambient and it makes me believe less in it.
As for the characters.. you might want to make their heads not as squashed (they need more width I think) The character above this post is looking at you from an angle and that's why it looks weird in 3D.
Really give more volume to your hair as well. Now it looks like it's really sticking to his scalp. ^^; Maybe adding more layers can solve this.
