Hey guys,
I'm trying to light a scene in UDK at the moment, everything is pretty much built out of static meshes but there is some BSP.
In the image here, I place a basic light by pressing L and Left Click and move it into location, there is shadow being cast.
When I built the lighting or build all, all shadow casting is gone. Any idea?

In that case it's prolly bounce light washing out and lighting up all areas. While as the light before the build is dynamic.
@Adam - I have turned GI on and off, the image above is with GI off.

Woops, that's true. I turned on Dynamic Shadows to no effect. But I did just generate unique UVs for it, and that seems to be working at the moment. I'm going to test it on a couple more meshes and see what happens.

So I've gone in and made unique UV sets, and increased the map sizes ranging from 64-1024. My build time has increased significantly. What is the recommended map size for light maps?
