It's a mix of people I know, work I really like, and newer artists with work that caught my eye. I do a quick run through where I open them all about once a week. I find it really useful to keep track of what everyone is doing.

I didn't have that before but I just added to my list. I don't think I'm going to update the first post with new portfolios. If someone posts something I really don't like I don't want to offend them by publicly ignoring it.

I would recommend getting a similar list into your bookmarks and opening them all at once. Then try and sort through them somewhat quickly. Doing this is going to make you impatient with the bad layouts and you will start to see what works best.

seriously though is there a quick way to just select all the links and copy paste 'em (chrome or explorer)? my list is longer than the op and everything other than one at a time results in nothing happening.

I did a firefox open all in tabs and then copy pasted from the URL bar. Firefox will let you save bookmarks into a simple html file but it includes all kinds of other tags and stuff in there.

You could get an add-on for Firefox like this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-links/

Tried that and chrome crashed the Polycount tab about half-way through

Speaking of adding them to the wiki, it would be awesome if they could be orginized according to job types (character artists, environment artists, prop artists, concept artists, etc.) this would make it a lot easier for potential employers to browse through them.
