Haha, we'll see. There was a Russian badass that does some contract work for Blizz that also entered, his hits their style pretty spot on. They said they'll announce the winner sometime next week.
Great job on the contest Matabus! That's an awesome way to make the community involved.
Are the contestants judged by the quality of the presentation as well or only for their ideas? 'Cause it would be cool to see some crayon painting kid win and some of your inhouse artists could just polish his concept to a more presentable state. This way you get a contest not for who's the most professional artist, but rather for dedicated fans with the most interesting ideas.
Though I took a quick glance through the entries and I have to say, Isaiah, you rock man.) Russian badass is ok, but your entry had more character to me.
Best of luck:)

(and for the record... hurry the F up on TL2!!!!!)
Ace-Angel: I don't see why not. I think we are going to simplify the brief soon to simply say "concept an armor". So yeah, you should be good.
I am totally doing this. I'm going to be in the Philippines for 2 weeks so it'll cause me to be cutting it close for the deadline.
I'm pumped!
Also, if anyone cares, here was my submission (I know this isn't the art forum so I'm just submitting a link to the image)
