Transformation Box Troubles

Basically i was wondering if there is a way in 3DS Max to reset the transformation box to its original Box'd shape if some how it becomes rotated. I've ran into this problem several times and i can't seem to find a solution. I've tried the following so far with no luck:
1.) Reseting the "working pivot"
2.) Reseting the regular pivot
---- these two seem to align the pivot to the camera but dont affect the rotation
3.) Rotate the object so the bounding box is squared
----when i do this then the object it's self becomes rotated in an undesirable manner

is there some simple solution that i've been over looking? plz help! XD
