We want to offer our customers opportunities to personalize their game experience through micro-transactions without affecting game-balance or segregating our player base.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Key Responsibilities[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Plays a key, collaborative role to turn an original concept into a detailed set of usable mechanics, interactions and rules for AAA single-player and multiplayer action games[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Create and balance player development trees, upgrade trees, and in-game economy.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Forms a clear vision of how the various game systems interact with each other, and then drills down into each sub-system for detailed design work[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Collaborates with other disciplines to design, prototype, implement and tune game mechanics[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Actively solicits feedback to continuously improve his designs[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Proactively anticipates problem areas and looks for preventative solutions[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Is meticulous at documenting his work, meeting deadlines and managing tasks effectively[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Qualifications[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]4+ years experience as a game systems designer working in the industry; track record of shipped titles as a designer[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]In-depth knowledge of cross platform games and micro-transaction based business models[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; excellent ability to judge details vs. the big picture[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Highly knowledgeable in [/FONT]
- [FONT=&quot]Complex systems for character development trees, tech trees, virtual economies commonly found in e.g. multiplayer, RPG or RTS games[/FONT]
- [FONT=&quot]Design, prototyping and tuning of virtual economy[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Highly creative and able to rapidly concept solutions to design challenges[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; with design as well as with other disciplines (engineering, QA, ..)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Team player; ability to take and apply direction; ability to constructively take feedback on work and provide valuable feedback to others[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Commitment to AAA quality[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Passionate about videogames and videogame design[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Desirable skills[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Previous experience working on FPS or 3rd person action titles, as well as other genres[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Experience working with the Unreal Engine is a plus[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Skilled at using lo-fidelity tools (spreadsheets, paper) to prototype and tune systems before they get implemented in-game[/FONT]
