Using mental-ray, just a standard free light, using a template. I have keyframed the Intensity to "0". As I need it off in this position. But for some reason a rainbow appears... shows on renders as well so not a viewport problem.
I don't think I have enough info to know exactly what is wrong. I'm not exactly sure what the end result should look like so that makes things a little more difficult.
That looks like a "Photometric Free Light" to me, which is different than a "standard" omni light. You might want to change the light to a standard light and see what happens. Unless there is some specific reason you need to use photometric lighting. I would probably need to look at the scene and poke around in it to figure out whats wrong.
Another wasted thread, sorry lol. I just deleted the lights and replaced them and it's working okay now. Using the Photometric Free Light, sorry forgot to mention, is just a nice and quick light to add and gives nice results. :P
