Looking at the video there are still a lot of things I think could be improved upon but I'm really wanting to move onto something new.
I have to say thanks to everyone that has uploaded a tutorial or took the time to explain their workflow, really wouldn't have been able to learn how to build this if wasn't for them
Looking really cool! really like the robot design and the lighting improvements are good. Video has come out cool as well! Look forward to seeing what you make next
Man, with the music and all it really looks like it would be awesome in an adventure game or rpg of sorts. Love the theme and the mood. Too bad all the big budget goes into action games these days.
I love the Environment, very talented and very awesome work. Though it seems like more work could be done to the areas that do not focus on the large Robot. a little bit more in them perhaps. Some water damage to the walls too. - Sythen.
I really love your work so far, and its great to see the progress of the piece from the inital concept to present, many would update a chunk of critiques but I think you have taken each one to the next.
I did check out that video and some of the composition was fantastic but I cant help but feel the robot is too centered. He is directly in the middle of all the platforms faceing true center, imagine if that hulking great thing walked into your factory, cause lets face it its not in the shape to have been just built and nicely polished its seen some wars, even if you want it to have rust over time...
Is there any chance you could possibly walk it in, imagine the controls and its driver of the skill it would take cause at the end of the day the factory is not much bigger than the robot, maybe it ducked in and came in at an angle, especially seeing as you have some lighting troubles a while ago in settling on its angle and shadows.... maybe if had a more dynamic pose or position, you could even get some menacing leg shadows up a wall.
Maybe on the scaffolding a little emergency/work light thats casting a strong shadow up a wall from a low angle.
