Yeah I figured as much.
I guess I'm being too nit picky. And a water shader is a project all in its own. I love the assets and the actual design. Good work!
Awesome! When I first opened this thread I thought the top pic was some concept art!
Have to agree with Tobbo that the water doesn't quite fit the scene. But, having worked with them on scene myself, I understand water shaders are a pain in the ass. The colour is ok, just the ripples look too much. But that is a minor thing.
I notice your Reeds aren't in the wireframe. Are they made the same way as the grass? Just flat polys with a texure?
How did you texture the ground/terrain? It looks like you've used 3 textures in vertex blended UDK material? I thought you could only vertex blend 2 textures?
Last thing. You should put your name and website link on your images. People often save images as inpiration etc, and having your link on the image lets them get in contact with you.
@salacious_Crumb
Thanks!)
Yep all vegetation made the same way as grass, leaves etc.
About terrain, I blended 4 textures, there is few ways how to mix more than 2 textures, but the easiest way looks like that:
As you can see there is one free slot in vertex color (alpha), so you can expand this shader for one more texture.
Hope it was useful

I know it's the UDK, but I'm not a huge fan of all of those ripples in the water. I would make it more still if you can.

Maybe later I'll make some cool liquid shader, but now I'm a bit tired of this work, so leave it like it is:)
