Yeah with proper UV:ing the quality could be improved loads. It's a little bit weird how they left so much UV-space. Oh well, good work so far ! 2048x1024 is so overkill for a weapon it makes me shiver xD hurray for PC-memory budgets eh? ^^
Did notice this in the WAYWO thread, although I did read crossdressing not crossposting first, so yeah....
Anyway, looks really nice, since it's a wip I don't have much to say, other than that the spec highlight looks pretty uniform regards of the material.
I have to disagree. The darker iron almost feels plasticky. Something between vanilla and your texture would be best I think. Otherwise great work, miles ahead of the vanilla assets.
That looks great! Your comparison picture makes me really think there must have been a large disconnect between the artists and engine/tech artists for skyrim.
Well, looks great as always man! And say, did you stop painting in the lighting? (Other than the edges that is, which works really well here I might add)

Piew piew, next-gen Millenia!
Oh, and this is Tiros btw.
I haven't painted on light for the past 2 years :P
(Aside from occasional things for older engines)
Hey man, the workshop version of this mod ain't working, whats up?
Tried Nexus mod manager to get it instead, but I've installed it but get an error that it does not have permission to write to a certain directory? Thing is, that directory doesn't even exist. Anyone know of a fix?

Keep up the good work
Now in the Steam workshop!
Same as the default textures in the high res pack, actually! (Some are even less)
Well if thats the case. Bethesda give this guy a job. Simply gorgeous texture right there mate.
Thanks lol!
If you're interested in seeing how I did the same thing for New Vegas (the comparison is even worse) feel free to check this thread out

On a serious note, I would love to see (and would totally work on) a full texture replacement mod.
