For the AO map, just take all the overlapping uv islands and offset them in uv space by 1

Delete half of your edge loop on the gun barrel, there's too much!

alright guys i already took half of my edge loop and i re-model some of it too. I found out im wasting to much uv space, i will update my uvs as soon as i get it done but so far this is what i have. hard criticism r welcome

is this coming right out of your head? If so, stop and find some reference. If not, post references please. The modeling is ok, but you have lots of work to do. Keep it up, as the silhouette of this thing has some cool potential for a sci-fi weapon.
