I was just about to post it. Had a pal from ND drop me a link yesterday.
All and all an enjoyable watch, though pretty long. It's nice to see Teagan enjoying himself all the way.
For those in doubt the video features him building an Uncharted style location in 3 hours and a review of Naughty Dog production pipeline, as well as some engine insight(I knew they were skinning those instances!) and advice to those applying for a job.
Yea, I agree Autocon. I posted the link in my school's gaming group on Facebook. Ton of good info..need to watch it again, a few technical tips to write down. Its cool that you guys compose your scenes in maya and have a script that can convert it to what the game engine needs. Smoother art pipeline, and workflow.
This talk was really good, definitely worth the 3 hours. Great insight into an awesome environment art worflow.
Move Mods are really cool too, I figure prefabs in Unreal might be able to mimic this when it comes to positioning things (not the root stuff though). Since they would be all static meshes I don't think there would be a savings when it comes to object count but it would make things pretty flexible when putting the level together.
Never thought I'd be watching a talk that happened at AAU After graduating, getting a job, and moving to Montreal... but looks interesting, watching now.

I highly recommend it as many things in it are pretty universal.
