Lroy - Yeah, it was part of my personal brief for this project that I hand paint as much of her as possible. There are exceptions. I used some alpha stamps for the Fabric structure, a base repeating leather texture which i worked into with more damage and creases and finally a bit of lace from cgtextures for the bra strap. Oh and the rocket part of the arm tattoo is from a free tattoo design site that I worked into, but the rest of the tats are mine.
almighty_git - The alpha stamps I used may be the difference in surface quality that give the differences in style you think you see? That and I still need to work on the quality of her skin. Its been a tricky thing to get right and I still have some ways to go.
please don't misunderstand, there's nothing wrong with the quality of work on any aspect of the model (except wtf? why so many polies for those teeth?). i said that it looks like there's a visual style difference between different aspects of the materials.
She really turned out very clean looking, which is meant as a compliment, although it would be cool to see a "battle damaged" version with scrapes, bruises, runny make-up etc.
almight_gir - I really do appreciate the crits as its the only way we learn and its also what sets this forum aside from the others and what makes it so valuable. About the teeth, in my opinon the human eye is trained to spot the smallest facial details and teeth are no different. Teeth can add character and a silhouette for a mouth shape and expression. I find spending extra polys on an animated pupil dilation, nostril flare and the corners of the eye can help convey more subtle emotion than polys spent anywhere else.
ebagg - I aimed for clean but slightly worn .. Just so I never got tempted to hide problems with dirt amd grime...But I think i'm going to do some further work into her ( after a break ), so some smudges and grime might make its way in there
amazing stuff! as others have said, there is so much life in this character, especially the face
one minor crit - the abdominal area looks too flat and shapeless, like a cylinder. some clearer indication of muscle groups, ribcage, illiac crests, and more shape in general would really make this perfect
+1 on pimping this as a banner!
She's just oozing with so much character and besides the nitpicks others have mentioned as well, this is one absolutely gorgeous piece! Totally saved to my ref folder.

Can I ask a bigger screenshot of the face with the wireframe ? I would like to see the topology !
