Good job on that sword, itismario. I'd say that its by far the best part of your model. The blade will look more metallic if you give it sharper edges, make it smoother and add specularity. Some of the scratches look a bit unrealistic.
Also, I think that the facial proportions and cloth need more work.
Looks sweet
I am getting a bit tired of that polaroid effect in toolbag, would be nice to see it without that red overlay, would be easier to judge the colors
I love this competition. There are a lot of civil war threads that we never get to see the end of. You guys have consistently been pumping out awesome updates of your progress. You're both doing great so far. Keep it up!
really nice richness you've added the the texture man. I'd make the cloak a little bigger and try and get more tonal contrast particularly in the lower bits
Looking sweet dude! The new face looks much better! But you may want to look at your texture again under his eyes, it looks more like he has blue paint on his face rather than his eyes are glowing.
Clearly the female is in a terrible disadvantage here, she looks like she have half of the weight of the male, she have a little protection over the shoulders and maybe on the arm but the male have armor all over his body, and what if the male stomp on her bare cute feets!!!!?
the head is lookin much better brah, overal forms are nice, the neck looks super solid. the individual features are kind of odd though, I did a liquify/paintofver that might help. I fixed the shape of the eyes, shaved the nose down, moved the ears a bit and changed the line of his mouth.
keep it up man! both of these deathknights are lookin sweet!
Though I like that you've gone the extra step to get him into an environment, the environment seems to take away from the character right now. I look at the pillars first then the character if you know what I mean.
The character and environment kinda use the same colors so they tend to blend together, if you squint it becomes hard to differentiate the character from the environment. So honestly, I like the previous shot better. Because it's all about the character on this one. Other than that, kick-ass work. Really really good.
Great idea to add the environment, though he looks a little lost in there as the colours seem to blend in.. still fantastic work. You should both do a face off render ^^,
itsmario: Man, this is beyond awesome... Really fantastic looking. Congratulations! I agree with the guys above though, the char should pop more over the environment. Maybe you could work a bit on lighting, to add more contrast? Here's a suggestion:
Wow, you both did awesome stuff!
And I also really like the paintover that Amaury did! Maybe his shoulder armor could be darker and his head a little bit brighter..
I agree with jramauri, thats a good way to help your character look even more awesome without having to sacrifice the environment. Keep up the good work, looking sweet so far!
I think you did a great job man and it really looks like a it could be a piece of blizzard concept art when presented like this Well done mate, you're an inspiration.

Excellent work gentlemen.
Keep it up!
I'm sure you can make your own background really quick with just render>clouds and make its white and gray.
I love your textures on him man, great job
keep it up man! both of these deathknights are lookin sweet!
Lroy - great work too.... but where's our posed female death knight/beauty shot, dude? Don't leave us hanging

you also got some nice stretching on the floor tiles

Sorry about that dudes!
and the wires.
She is 9k tris and the sword is little over 1k.
Rendered in Marmoset with some post in Photoshop.
I can't decide which one I like more. Different styles, but both are very cool.
