Alright, I haven't really had any practice with wood textures so I figured the best way to try it is to create a level with mostly wood.
This is the concept I'm aiming for, although the vision of my end result is a more of a dark and creepy feel.

I just finished the absolute basic block out, just so I could get a feel for scale and spacing and whatnot.
It's not exact but it seems to be fine for now. This is also a test to see how efficient I can work. In the past I would either not finish a project or work on it extremely slow. SO hopefully everything goes well.

Could be the perspective playing tricks on my eyes though.
I'd like to second Pixelz comment, and agree that you need to get your tiling correct to match the concept as well.
Lastly, I'd like to know where you found this concept. I know the girl who created it.
@everyone Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I'll get to fixing the scale and tiling here in a little bit. It was just hard for me to find the right balance between a real life scale, and the scale of the concept.
Alright, I attempted to fix the scale and feel. It's not perfect, but I feel its an improvement from the first.
