A bit different to the 'what are you listening to' thread, I'd like to know what one or two main tunes do you throw on with the volume up when you're up against it and really need to Get Shit Done?
please recommend me some hi-octane 'kick up the arse' deadline-smashing tunes! (any genre)
To kick off, I'll begin with what I tend to come back to again and again:
Yea I work in silence when stuff needs to get done. Just helps me concentrate and not lose track of time. If Im stressing out I usually put on my huge mix of tracks or listen to the ricky gervais podcasts haha.
I've got a massive playlist of all the songs I like that I listen to most often and then I've got another one for my favorite up-beat songs that really help me concentrate and keep me motivated if I need to knuckle down. My tastes are pretty eclectic but I try to keep the beat happy or fast with positive or inspiring lyrics. I don't have access to youtube here at work, so have a few spotify links:
I generally don't listen to this type of music (more towards electronic sounds: bitpop, dubstep, etc) but a friend mentioned it to me once and for some reason it just clicks. Can zone out for hours on this - and then suddenly it's 7AM...
