Was thinking of simple solutions and what if Polycount had one thread under general discussion NOT stickied labeled.
Controversial Thread(UnModerated):
Give it some ground rules:
Rule 1: No gruesome pictures or grotesque/hardcore Porn
Rule 2: No solicitation of Illegal activities.(Mainly Links to pirated content)
Rule 3: Have at it!
I think this is a silly idea. You can't have an unmoderated thread that also has rules that would need enforcing. You should never have an "unmoderated" thread on forums like polycount from which people get hired, post portfolios, and work to expand their careers.
Then if anyone wants to start a political topic or start some A vs B rage they can do it here and the warning tag is like a giant "DON'T CLICK ME IF EASILY OFFENDED" tag.
I like the better, even easier option of "If you want to post shit like that, do it somewhere else."

I guess I'm living in the past. I remember the time PC was more layed back and for modders as well. Since in fact, it started that way with character models for like Quake Arena.
By the same token, if your so worried about your career on this site to the point of being "PC". Well, its just sad to me what PC has become. Its in the drag race of dog eat dog where everything is all or nothing career step. Where you can't show your true self as its like a job interview. No room for the fans, hobbyists, or others.

That's what unmoderated forums are like. Just a barrage of verbal diarrhea.
