You've got some incredible silhouettes in there. Would love to see more/your process on creating those incredible thumbnails as well. Keep up the great work!
Damn, impressive feeling of lighting you've got going here! even though they're small thumbs keep going, i'll be following this thread! any tips for tutorials on painting those sci-fi environements?
AlbinLudahl - thanks, there is no actual process for making the thumbs, I start with very basic shapes, abstract, like triangles or ellipses or lines etc
I work on many of them at the same time and use a very large brush at the beginning
it is all a random mess until I see some volumes in that mess and I decide to go with them
and than based on the already established big volumes I feel like what other smaller shapes I would like thrown in there
some thumbnails go very fast, other don't because I repaint parts of them, or even entirely, a few times until I decide I move on
I do not have a rule nor do I pre plan anything
