Since its not mine, nor is it directly art related to portfolio pimping and previews seemed not the best place. I have been asked to give a gander over this site and submit spice it up ideas if needed. What do you think is missing and design wise could be improved (other than not using wordpress)?

You can tell them they can do better than TwentyTen (the default wordpress theme) with a custom logo. Not that it's a bad theme, it just screams lazy and uninspired. The least the could do is change some colors or something.

Lose the black bar above the header and put a some space between the header and the links. I'd also scale the logo and text down and increase the tracking on the "igda" text.

This popped up as soon as I clicked on it. I don't know if it's Polycount related or your link.

White text on a black bar which sits on a white background makes it a little tiring on my eyes. Maybe bold letters or a lighter bar color could be better.

I have removed the link as Monster was correct, there is some sort of iframe exploit going on. I cant tell if the actual exploit is harmless or meant for a specific browser, or for using to gain passwords when the admin logs in.

At this point I have removed the link and suggest running a virus scan if you saw the page. I profusely apologize. All I can say in my defense is, its not my site.

Ahoy everyone; this is Sean from the IGDA Seattle board. oXYnary pointed this out to me - first off, big thanks for the FYI. And sorry for the scare.

We still have not been able to see a single incidence of this insertion; I've refreshed the site in chrome, firefox, safari & IE - 30 to 50 times for each browser - and checked the source for the inserted code, without a single result. Here's the url I'm searching for:

    h NOT-A-LINK ttp://katchman.cu.cc

There was a duplication of the google analytics code, but it appears I simply inserted it into the header.php twice. Other than that, I'm buggered; unless the code insertion is checking for the source of the page request and not inserting it for me, the host, and a couple of security-minded-folks I've had looking, I'm really at a loss.

This leaves us scratching our heads - could it be an issue with the referring link, multiple people's browser, did the malicious party decide to stop for the time being...? Monster, you & oXYnary are the ones that have seen it, are you still seeing this? Can anyone else confirm, and document the steps they used (aside from refresh & check source for the questionable URL) if they have seen this?

Thanks again Polycount Community - I've always been a big fan of these boards, and been a member off & on but lack the skills to really stand out here, so I lurk. Oh do I lurk :D
