SnaFuBAR, Scott was your mentor? That must have been awesome. I bet that for someone with proper vehicle design seeing something like this must be an insult, ahah. I just looked at the concept the best I could and tried to recreate the basic shapes, at first it was a bit hard without blueprints, but after the blockout is done, it flows pretty well.
For those asking how long it took, well, I know I started exactly one month ago, but I didn't work on it every day, I worked on it like on and off, a couple of hours after work.

Do you zbrush the whole thing at once or do you take pieces in at a time? How do you manage your scene with something like that?

Very impressive model, and an amazing concept.
That's one gorgeous APC Helder, could use some more wear in the texture/paint, but the model itself is just sweetness all around
