Very informative, thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. I didn't realize that alt painting on polypaint layers removed the paint, or that fill object will only effect the painted areas. Thanks!
I am curious about how you did the render. Did the textures carry the look well enough for you to run it through BPR with some tweaked settings or did you have to customize materials and such? I'm guessing the background was done simply by appending and transposing a plane primitive and setting the background to a pure white to match it.
Also, the step where you started painting in the dirt at around 11:30 in the video did you use a Mask by Cavity to get the base? That step went by pretty fast so it was kinda hard to catch.
jeffro, [HP], sprunghunt, - Well after some ordeal I have finally finished my video walk-though, I would call it a tutorial but I think that would be a disservice to all the guys and gals that have created great tutorials, mine is rather weak in comparison.
Hey don't be so hard on yourself. It seems to explain your general working process pretty darn well. Thanks for that.

I agree, 99% of the people can't be arsed to record videos, or even take pictures, so what you did was already a lot, and trust me, we're all very grateful for it!
Sorry there has been no posts from me recently, been away for the last few weekends!
Shiv,Akula,JFletcher,shrew81,Oniram,Rhoutermans,CaSToRx7,Twister3,imyj,Illusive,scotthomer,Orgoth02,rasmus, Piotr : Thank you all very much!
dtschultz : I will put up some untextured versions as soon as I get some captures.
Fingus : The render was uber basic, just one light with shadows and the material was the one used in the video the only thing I changed for the render was I made it lighter, as the render/shadows darkened it down quite a bit.
sprunghunt, jeffro,[HP] : Thank you for the support, nice to hear that you found it useful. Funny thing is, it took longer to create the video than it did to make the model. lol.
