Hi folks!
Spent a few days on this, any feedback/crit is welcome.
It's a small village environment that I'll be modeling for the water-adapted humanoids of a personal RPG project me and a buddy are working on. They are heavy users of an alien technology called Zaigus, which they worship as a holy substance since it seems to have a life of its own. (da blue stuff)
They use it to power their households built within huge water trees. Land is scarce in their environment. The Zaigus is slurping up the energy of the trees (yum), so they haphazardly patch up the wounds with crudely forged sheet metal.

Uhm... yes, I agree after you said that... that is interesting.
I think as far as your concept goes, you need to spend more time getting shapes and forms right in your sketch before you start painting it. But hey, im no concept artist.
That being said,
i think if you add some lighting some shadows it'll alleviate the dick pains.
love the entrances.
Like the concepts so far. I am also working on doing a steampunk and trees concept. I am very curious to see more of this
Thanks. I agree that I'm really weak with lighting. I'll have to work on it more.
And holy shit, now that you goons pointed out the, ah, resemblance some shapes have to certain genitals now I'm kinda seeing it too.
Anyway, I think I'll have to rethink some of the shapes.
Pervs... :poly136:
Hate to say it, but that was my first thought. lol. I've done that in the past, it's fairly easy to do when you are focusing on something else entirely.
Let's get some texture and deeper shading on this. It's crying out for some paint love.
