Hi all:poly108:
I was playing cod and bad company 2 and I decided to model a nice and interesting smg so here is a couple of screens.
Hope You will like it:)
looks pretty cool but I think you overdid it a bit with the scratches. They seem to be in areas that are normally not really exposed to too much wear & tear, try toning them down a bit overall.
hi thanks for posting

it was in concept so i did additional grip
Yes I was thinking alot on UVs and I enlarge uvs near the players eye.

I like grips in that way and this is not a WIP it is a finished model :P

hehehe old fpsbanana now it is gamebanana .I started my 2d/3d adventure on fpsbanana and I know that project:) and awesome concept I want more!!!
Looks beautiful man. Really digging the render.
I just dont understand your scratches. It looks like someone took a metal brush and whacked angrily at the front of the gun.
And some of the scratches give off a darker color, that wouldnt happen. It would take off the paint and leave the pure metal color. but you really dont need more scratches!
Just those small changes and this weapon will be flawless!
I'm from FPSBanana/GameBanana myself.
In fact, I'm a moderator over there. It's nice to meet a fellow bananite!
Also, I messaged Daisuke, who did the concepts, and his reply to this thread was: "Damn, that looks sweet."
Say thanks to daisuke a lot of fu... awesome artists born on fpsbanana!everyone can find many good tutorials on banana :)and the banana community is awesome and very helpful like on polycount:)
Banana high five :P
Very nice indeed. I think you could up the wear and tear on the handle, especially on the spot where the thumb would go. You allreaddy got some, but i think you would benefit from more.
Then you got a quite nasty UV-seam/normal error, marked with ted on the pic. When i think about it i just looks like a diffuse seam.
And finaly i think you should rotate you screws some. I looks to uniform right now.
LOL I forgot about rotating screws!! and that diff seam is a hard edge baked on normal.also forgot to clean it up in ps -__-
ehhh rookie mistakes. I'll try to fix it as soon as posible

Mind posting the flats?
I think i missed that.thanks for reminding
Putting that oddity aside, it looks great
UV maps look very well thought out too ^^
Looks great tho!
If you want to know, the concept was made for the FPSBanana MegaMod project.
Edit:// If you're interested, here's another concept of his, which he made a few months before the one you've seen.
