Hey folks, I split my polygroups from my 3 main sub tools up into different subtools using Groups Split.
However when I draw any of the newly created subtools onto the canvas. The whole bloody original object gets drawn on.
I just don't get it.
It shows them separated fine.
Any guidance would be great.
Thanks

You can only draw out tools. If the tool has any subtools, then it brings them all along for the ride (which you can then hide or delete if you want). Otherwise instead of using subtools, split them into their own individual tools
: )
Thanks!
EDIT: Is there a way to auto split all my polygroups(bricks) into new main tools?
As for automatically splitting them, no methods instantly come to my mind. Chances are you don't even want them all automatically split anyway, unless you want to reposition every brick back onto the document. What are you aiming to do here, use ~ and fill in the gaps?
I used the clone method for each one.
It was time consuming, but worked.
Thanks
