Just found this link and has a video half way down.
So funny the women is so emotional over a burger.
The guy 1st in line is hyped up about getting his food.
All these silly people.lol
Anyone going down there today. http://blogs.pitch.com/fatcity/2011/05/in-n-out_makes_people_weep_in.php
yeah, you could go to a butchers, get 10 raw patties for the price of 1 in n out burger, and cook it yourself.
it would be healthier AND better value for money.
A single 2oz hamburger from In-N-Out only costs $1.75 - you can get ten patties at that price? Man, I'm not eating any beef that's selling for less than 9 cents an ounce.
Ain't nothin' wrong with an In-N-Out Burger. Other burgers may better, but if you can't get them at a drive-thru, it's not really the same thing...
Haters gonna hate. Best damn burger around for any fast food joint, service is great, and the people behind the counter actually speak English.
Did a 10x10 challenge back in college.. contest at a lan party where each of had to eat a 10 cheese 10 patty burger... felt like I was gonna die afterwords but man it was delicious pain.
feel proud bud, they really are the best in the world. every time someone has said that to me, i was disappointed, but everyone i know that has tried one agrees.... best in the world. me and some fellow canadians were sittin around a fire a few weeks back, and one of them says "ok, be honest, who could go for ferg burger right now". and we all erupted in drooling chants
That's what you get when fast food becomes your best option
I'm anything but the fit healthy eater but man if i read how crazy people get over a piece of junk food it kinda scares me away.
Also such a line is just madness , why not wait a month until the crazy is over and get one then when they're probably less busy and can put some more work into your food.
I was always partial to Culvers in the midwest. Guess that's just a Minnesota chain or something. Though In N Out is still above and beyond normal FF joints.

We have one here.
I like their shakes!
I also enjoy 5 Guys Burgers. I've had better, but I do love their fries!
There's a Culvers, basically just down the road, but haven't been there yet. My wife went with the inlaws, and wasn't impressed by it, so she won't go there again for me to try it.

Yeah I can't vouch for the burgers. I really only ever got the fries and frozen custard.

Actually, my kids love the place, and I think they reference the fries and the shakes. Oh well, maybe I'll take them some time, and let the wife go hungry
As a foreigner I dont' understand the love for in-and-out burger. It just seems like the same kind of mass produced burger as mcdonalds or burger king to me.
I also don't understand why californians get all upset about someone not liking it.

Elk and venison burgers!
The Ranch Drive-In
XXX Rootbeer Drive-In
Herfeys
Red Mill Burgers
I'd hit any of those places before I hit 5 guys again. Maybe the people and equipment weren't up to speed or something but it was pretty bad.
Red Mill Burgers are incredible !
Even though its pretty expensive, Lunchbox Laboratory (Ballard/South Lake Union) makes a great burger as well
