Hey all polycontians!
i'm gameart student who's about to graduate and therefore looking for an internship. please critique my portfolio and the stuff in it.

it's a nice site, like the layout and how information is presented.
i don't know what it is you want to do, though. your main page consists of 3 characters, but then the games section lists you working as everything from game designer to art director (i don't know if i would ever put this on my resume regardless of how true it may be).
so do you want to do characters, environments, level design, props?
if you are searching for an internship i guess it helps to be open to everything but in the long run i would try and specialise and focus your portfolio.
Nice site. I like that the opening page shows your work.
My only crit would be consistency for all models, the 'Hunger' shows image, wires and breakdown, which is what recruiters will be looking at. If it included a video it would be the perfect presentation of a piece. The others need the same attention ^^
I purposly left out anything other than game artist beacuse, as you say i think it helps when i'm looking for a internship. I was hoping that the art would show off what i'm interested in.
and yes I agree that i should show maps on the 'misthump' as well. the third one though, 'burlesque lady' is just a zbrush sculpt so it has no maps or whireframe.
thanks again for the critz!
1) Your name and preferably contact details should be on every image. What if someone saves the image, passes it around to others, they want to get in touch with you but don't know how to?... You don't wanna be in this seat.
Hi Otto, nice site. I like the way everything is presented the only thing it lacks is content I guess. It's really really hard to land a job as a character artist or something like that so maybe you should focus on having some general assets in there as well? Maybe some breakdowns of the student games you've been working on? Good work so far!
kodde; gonna fix the contact information, and the spelling
chris; hard to fix the content problem but I have another character on the way if it would help. and that's true about the breakdowning of the games. got to get time to fix these things...
Nice site Otto. As someone previously mentioned, a turntable on your second creature would be nice, seeing as you have it on the other two. And some detail pictures on your burlesque-lady?

Two things that I can think of...
1) Your name and preferably contact details should be on every image. What if someone saves the image, passes it around to others, they want to get in touch with you but don't know how to?... You don't wanna be in this seat.
2) Game Artist is two words in English.

thanks again all of you
Otherwise, great. Love the arrow!
