TexTools Installation

According to TexTools you just simply drag the .mzp into the viewport. I'm using Max 2010 x64 and this does not work, I get the cursor which means you can't do that, I don't know what it's called.

Never mind, doing it manually.

Might not have admin permissions on that machine? It works fine for me in 2010, 2011, 2012 64bit.

I have installed it manually, but MAXScript Listener is constantly poping up

And I run Max in Admin mode, and i'm the only user and the admin. Although Win7 is buggy with admin permissions.

I can also hear a dialogue constantly being displayed but can't see it, just hear the sound...

Win 7 is weird about that. You either have to run it not in admin mode or turn UAC off to get drag and drop installs to work. I recommend turning UAC off, it only exists to annoy people.

Meh, I might try again one day. it sort of works now. But screw it, I will stick with max's good old limited tools, ive been fine with them for years.

All i wanted to do is align a load of verts,

make sure the file isn't a .zip, but a .mzp
I had that issue from downloading it with Internet Explorer.
