Hey I'm new to the site, but followed for a long time and had a small issue. Whenever I render a jpeg out from Maya, the image quality degrades to a pixelated quality. I was wondering if anyone new of any fixes for this issue. Thanks in advance

Hi! I'm no expert but if I were you I'd try using an uncompressed file format such as png or targa. Then if you need jpeg you can always fix that in photoshop.
If the problem is not file format related then maybe you should check your render settings and increase the image size and quality preset?

Thanks for responding, But I've tried the render settings and upped the resolution to as high as I could imagine but the same end result. Same thing with png files and so on. It works fine if saved out as a Targa. Any thoughts?
