Jumping in late.

I wanted to clean up Blanka a bit but didn't want him to loose his "wild" nature. My favorite line of his is "You'll never survive in the jungle." So, Playing off of that, I decided to try and make him into a Brazilian Mafia/Gang Leader.
Not sure yet what the final image will look like, just kinda going with it for now.

Started fleshing out the body. I'm working on the face and head now just to get some emotion going. Then I'll figure out how I want to handle the clothes.
Once I get the head/face on the body, I'll put up some quick paint overs of what I'm thinking for the final pose.

Any feedback would be great even if you hate the idea or model :poly124:

Update:

next, I need to go to town on the clothes, add teeth, eyes, claws, anklets and figure out his pose. Then really figure out how I want his hair to look.

looking cool so far, although I always picture blanka as being more stocky, right now your guy feels a little too tall for blanka, I might even suggest modeling him a little hunched over so that he has some of that blanka feel before you start putting clothes on him. Anyways keep it up!

Think it'd be cool and fit his new look if he were a little more suave. Really nothing else to crit, love everything about this. Actually on second thought, he might be a little too clean cut to be instantly recognizeable as blanka, maybe if you made his hair line a little more jagged, F it i'll just redo the paint over. OK Done.

@ Crazyfingers- Glad you like it, I agree with both points. I'm hoping to really sell the suave in the final pose. For his hair, he'll definitely have some fly aways but for the most part I want it to be slick. I'll mess around with his face later too when I add the cigar.
