So for my stage I'm going to do ThesmophoriaGarden stage from Sould Calibur 4.Sorry for the horrible pictures but couldn't find good shots online so I took pictures of my TV with my phone.
My general idea is akin to the Pandamonium Fortess from Diablo 2 where it is a fortress of the gods surrounded by evil/hell. So for mine I want to make area around the stage hell like as if Hades is invading and this is the last good place standing.So the surrounding area would look something like this:
