long time lurker,1st comp on polycount. Choosing Lizardman from Soul Calibur

looks like thread has been validated,.. so heres the original lizard man concepts, figured im gonna push him to be more aggresive looking, maybe bear a more dragon resemblance.

weapons and armour will change, just need to find a good direction.

bit of progress,once the base mesh is more solid i'll start doing paintovers for his design.

slow progress, still gotta do the armour and maybe the shield aswell,...then will do paintovers for silhouette breakers on the mesh,...probably just horns and all that crap

hi all,
such slow progress since been real busy lately, managed to get the base mesh to a point im happy with for sculpting. Im thinking instead of the little axe he uses in the games, i would go for something more meatier (bit like the axe the executioner has in the rez evil games). Got 11 days off shortly so hopefully i can really crack on getting him done.

Good start and I like where the facing is heading to. I'd personally get rid of the somewhat textbook anatomy in his torso though.

Maph: thanks , not really learnt anatomy properly so just getting it looking solid is my aim at the moment,..once im more confident with the basics i'll be able to push anatomy further.



no way this is going to get done in time for the deadline,..will still finish it up for portfolio though.

haha good point, back story to lizardman was that he used to be a human,....so thats my exscuse
