So yeah! First real character project in a looong time!

I've chosen Faust from the Guilty Gears series since I like his original look, specially when compared to many other fighting game characters!

So, the official info about him:
Originally known as Dr. Baldhead, the renowned medical genius. However, when he was operating on a young girl one day, she died. At this, the doctor lost his mind, becoming a serial killer and subsequently being thrown in prison. One night, after the events of Guilty Gear, he was visited by the ghost of the young girl who died, who assured him that her death wasn't his fault. After this moment, Dr. Baldhead was never seen again, but a "new" doctor named Faust appeared. From this point on, Faust set out to make up for all those who he murdered by helping others. Over the course of the Guilty Gear games, Faust finds himself chasing down assorted characters who he deems dangerous to the populace, and searching for any information he can find about the true cause behind the young girl's death.
So, my idea is to remove the part where he goes good again and instead throw in a macrabe mental hearth ward where he goes completly insane and continues his killing spree.

As for the visuals of him, here's my basic idea.

I want to put him in a torn straightjacket, leaving one sleeve on him(you know the straight jacket has thoose insanely long sleeves) and the other one torn off, so there is a bit of anatomical detail on him :) He'll still have the bag over the head, but the general appearence will be much more sinister and mutilated as if he hasn't seen light in a decade and has caused him self pain. I might keep his tie just for some comical relief and put some bloody/dirty bunny slippers on his feet(I don't want this character to look too serious).
Instead of the giant scalpel he's currently wielding, I thought I would switch it up with a very large surgical/metal scissor that's have both the blades detached from each other, so he can wield them as blades.

Sketches and such will come later :) I'm still evolving some ideas, but I would still love some feedback!
