Im not a big fighting game fan, but i remember loving the detailed 2d art work from guilty gear XX. found a good archive of the back ground images and decided on doing Zepp.
I'm definitely going to be recreating this in a photoreal manner, as its a challenge i was looking to set myself on a personal project before seeing this comp. Will attempt to push it in the hyper-real direction that uncharted does too. Using UDK.
thinking of keeping the composition and major elements the same but having it in an icy twilight scene.
should be fun
but majorly challenging.

can anyone confirm that I will be doing enough to fit the brief if the scene is under a blanket of snow an ice? best to know now if i need to re-conceptualise this.

wish i had more time to spend on this.
decided to only loosely arrange the pipes etc.. in the same way as the source.
failing that I'll have to adjust the model physically, but id prefer to avoid that if possible
