The Job:
Lead/Sr. Environment Artist
Float Hybrid is looking for talented and experienced Environment Artist to work on a exciting new console title. Applicants should be highly skilled in level construction, building of quality models and textures as well as lighting. We are looking for a individual whom has experience working within technical constraints of console development. We are looking for someone who can have thoughtful insight into creating the most efficient environment art pipeline as possible.
Responsibilities:
The Lead/Sr. Environment Artist will:
* Work closely with Art Director and Team leads to ensure high quality environment artwork
* Be capable of all aspects of 3D game environments; this includes modeling, texturing and lighting of terrain, interior and exterior sets, and props in both organic and hard surface fashion.
* Self manage time and work efficiently to meet goals and milestones.
* Help define environment art pipeline.
* Act as a mentor to less experienced artists.
* Potentially manage small team of Artists.
* Be open to experimentation and helping out across other disciplines.
* Unreal experience a HUGE plus
