need help finding an image

I need help finding a painting. If I remember right, it was greyscale or very desaturated and was of a beast and rider. The Beast was burly and had a skull for a head. What I really liked about the image (and why I'm looking for it) was that the artist painted the skull getting dark, almost black, towards the muzzle of the beast. The composition of the image has the beast traveling from left to right, 3 quarters, coming towards the viewer.

I thought I saw it on the front page of CGHub but I've had no luck in my searches.
