Firstly thanks for the tool! I'm having a small problem with explode - (I've had a quick read through the thread but couldn't see my issue exactly) The meshes travel off to a far off location in the viewport making it near impossible to navigate or find anything except the main mesh. Any idea why this might happen?
Cheers!
Oh I'm using max 2011 with service packs and v1.6 of RTTassist
Solar, as miauu said, do the following: expand the settings drop-down and turn of the animation (there is a checkbox named "off", it need to be turned on ).
Than Alt+ Click on the "Explode" button (this will enable the explode mode but will wait you to input a number in the explode field) , enter a small amount, for instance 1.1 and tap enter on the keyboard. The meshes should travel a small distance (depending on the scale of your scene), than what you can do is to play with the spinner arrows next to the explode field. This way you can fine tune the distance between the objects.
Hope that helps !
Hey Miauu, thanks for answering my question about getting the Haul feature in Max. I Have an issue with RTT. It seems like my AO is fairly low quality ever time I render using RTT no matter how high I raise Samples per or samples/spread. I get a much better result using standard max, or xnormal. Is there something I am doing wrong?
@ZombieWells, I haven't tested RTTassist on max2013. Maybe there is some kind of conflict between the versions.
Try this:
1)Set every option by hand and not just loading already made preset.
2)If you had run the baking once and the script produced A0 bakes, try deleting or moving the files in a separate folder before running the bake again.
3)...or better, set the output folder to a different path.
Check if this is going to work. Sometimes when you run the script second, third and so on time, the first texture bakes won't get overwritten.
I need to bake Lighting Map for multiple objects. Because 3ds Max default Render To Texture tool is unable to do this (I can only bake Lighting Map for one object at one time), I used RTT Assist to perform this task.
After I clicked the Render button, I got the warning message below:
"Re-apply the projection modifier or use another render mode"
I tried to apply projection modifier from RTT Assist window, but still got the same warning. What did I do wrong?
Using the script can you bake other map without that error?
After restarting my PC, I did not encounter error anymore, but the render result is strange. But nevermind, now I know how to bake Lighting Maps for multiple objects with Render To Texture. Thanks again!
I install the RTTAssist, after Install come the Message: Please, start RTTAssist manualy! I drag the button from the UI Customize into the MAX UI. When i click the button nothing happens. Anyone have the same problem? I use max 2014 with the 1.6 version.

also, does ist work in 2013? maybe the support list wasnt updated yet?
Works on max2013.
I really don't know why this happens. Maybe CodeFather can give you a better answer.
Can you try the RTT on another 3dsMax version?

@peterlevousierre, thanks for pointing out this. What version of 3dsmax are you using?
Thank you for your tool!

Download it and test it. If you don't like it - uninstall it.

Clicking on the provided links takes me to the Martin Punchev Character Art Portfolio page and no other links are available.
If there's an alternative link to download, is someone able to point me in the right direction please? Thank you!
EDIT: Nevermind! The bottom of the Script Spot page failed to load for me and I didn't notice the links missing at the bottom
Dang just a bit slow in my reply, Just saw that you found it.
