Well it looks like I'll be headed to the Pacific Northwest in the next few weeks. I just accepted a job at Microsoft for a contract art spot.
Never been to the Seattle area so this should be great.
Wife and kids are gonna stay behind and all that while my son finishes up school for the year so I'm looking for a couch or two to surf for a few days until I can get something more steady for living arrangements.
Look forward to meeting all the Polycounters up in that part of the country.

Though it must be tough being separated from and moving your family around so much.
Hopefully with the amount of studios in the Seattle area you can finally stay in one place for a good long while. Best of luck.
Hope to meet up for some good ole Green and Black beer time! Never been up that way and haven't met well probably any of you guys unless it was during a drunken rampage at GDC and then I wouldn't remember anything unless I had a photo of it.
Look forward to getting back to work and meeting new peeps, playing some golf is def. on my to do list.
Oh yeah... I'm also looking for super cheap places to stay on the short term until I get something established. Like on the "SUPER" crackhead (BUT SAFE) cheap since I haven't worked too much in a very long time.

Got an apartment, a flight on the 1st and shipping my stuff that i'm bringing with me tomorrow.
Won't start work until next week so I'll have some time to get used to the bus routes and find some prime drinking spots.
